You cannot put a Memory Stick Pro Duo Card in this without first inserting the duo into the larger Memory stick adapter. So you have to either leave your memeory stick adapter inside it all the time and take it out whenever you need to insert an SD or other card type, or risk not having it and not being able to use it with your memory stick duo.The second bad thing is that, at least for Memory stick/Duo if you have a Dell laptop, you have to eject and re-insert the whole PC card for it to recognize the memory card you inserted, which is annoying; not sure if this is Sandisk's or Dell's fault.
I bought this to use as an adapter to use my S550 to store songs on. And it works perfectly with a 2Gig SD card.
I am posting this to confirm that it works with SD cards bigger than 1 GB (mine is 16 GB SDHC) . Trust me, it'll be $$ well spent.
Works great for transferring data (i.e. for my fellow new E-class Mercedes owners (mine is E350 with HDD DVD changer - code 512) this card works great for all the functions you want to do with the PC-Card slot in your car.
Transfer all your music to an SD card of your choice and leave the rest of the cd changer for movies. Address book vCard) or just simply listening to music off of it (i.e.

Works great. I use it to play my MP-3 player through my car Honda navigation radio speakers by way of the aux jack. Warning: Be careful how you handle it and not allow it to get a shock when you have it in your hand and slide on the the seat fabric getting in or out of the vehicle. It will damage the card internally.
To remove a card after inserted, you must eject the Card Adapter from the computer.
